I agree Tanzania is worth the reentry pain and glad to know it isn't just us.
Our guide was extremely knowledgeable having been born and raised in Africa
as was his wife. He lives in the US now but we learned a great deal from
him. I had some preconceived ideas about some things that I've since
reconsidered. We were there for the Great Migration and it was awesome.
They are also dropping their babies at that time so was doubly fascinating.
(What a heck of a time to get born!) I gave up early on the am I drinking at
breakfast question. I never knew what day it was till I asked our driver.
He finally started announcing it to me each morning as we set out. There
were only five of us and we had two Land Cruisers so plenty of room and not a
lot of personalities to accommodate ;-)
