Subject: Key West
We stayed at a place in Key West last year. The arrangements were made by a friend, so I would have to get the information. Here's a description of the place - off the main road, but a little walk from the center of things in an older and safe section of town; about 10 or more townhouse/duplexes with a very pretty courtyard and hot tub (lots of caged birds and a resident kitty); no restaurant; looks like nothing from the outside, but very charming inside with huge tropical plants taking over the courtyard; inside of the townhouse very neat and furnished well - with a full kitchen, but no view; porches on each unit with a swing. If this sounds interesting, let me know and I will find out the price and phone number. We shared with two other couples.

There are many places to stay in Key West, but you really should try to stay somewhere off the main walking street. Also, rent either a bike (my speed) or a scooter to see more of the island. By the way, there are NO good beaches in Key West or anywhere in the Keys for that matter. You really should rent a boat and go snorkeling. Jan
