Subject: Another new Ziner... |
Hello, hello,
My planning for a trip to Italy in October (I can't wait), prompted me to e-mail Don &Linda, which in turn, ended up into an invite to join the group (thanks...) As I stated in my message to Don &Linda, My wife and I will be travelling to Italy in October to attend a wedding of one of my cousins, and during our stay in Italy, we will be visiting family members from both our sides. While in my part of Italy, I have been promised, by an uncle, to be taken to the Amalfi coast (Sorrento, Positano...) If it is any help, we will be in the Lazio region (around Scauri and Rome) during most of our stay. After all the family visits, I estimate that we'll have about 7 to 10 days for ourselves to visit any part we want. To name the major cities that I have already visited, they are Venice, Florence, Pisa, Rome, Naples, Capri, and Pompeii. Of these cities, my wife has only gotten to see Rome and Capri. I have heard great things about Cinque Terre and Tuscany, however, I'm looking into any suggestion on where to go, what to see, and what to do. Since I'm not swimming in money, and our Canadian dollar is still quite in bad shape, I'm also hoping to get info on places that are reasonably priced, that offer great value to our crummy dollar. I'd be more than happy to share information on French Polynesia, (more specifically Tahiti, Moorea, Huahine, and Bora Bora,) which I have visited on my honeymoon, and on the British Virgin Islands (Windjammer cruise.) I hope I haven't rambled on too much, and I'm looking forward to receive any feedback. Ciao!! Robert Romanelli Montreal, Canada |
