|Subject: Re: Fw: Train Reservations &Sleeper Cars|
My sleeper travel in Europe was long ago, but compartments that required
first class tickets if occupied by one or two people took second class
tickets if there were three people.
The question came up before whether there was a direct Amsterdam-Milan train. The Rail Europe Web site (which I found unreliable for ticket prices) shows that train (including sleeper supplement for a triple, but not a quad) with a discreet note under Frequency meaning ask at station. I went to the Dutch Railways Web site http://www.ns.nl and looked for that train on a few different days. Of the days I searched, it showed that train on a Friday night only. I don't have Randy's original post and forget if you said you were going before or after the schedules change Sept. 25; I don't know if the later schedules can be found yet.
