Bon soir!
Thanks to Sandy for your note. I misread Vence as Venice!!!! Since
we're vsiting both places in one trip, it was an umderstandable mistake! We
will be staying at the Hotel Villa Roseraie, which appears to be a small,
charming bed and breakfast. Monica responded very promptly to our e-mails,
was quite friendly and informative when we made our reservations. What did
you enjoy most about Vence and the environs, Sandy (and others who may have
visited Vence)?
We want to share with others that we have found Rick Steves' website
very helpful--we purchased our railpasses from his organization and received
a free video on how to make the most of your railpasses plus free guide and
phrase books. Very practical information in the video.
