Subject: Re: Boston
Hi! Just would like to mention a couple of favorite Boston restaurants, Legal Seafood at any location is probably the Best seafood restaurant in the country. For some interesting atmosphere and good seafood try the Union Oyster House near Fanuil Hall. Claims to be the oldest restaurant in Boston or the US, can't quite remember but the atmosphere is quite even just to have some fresh oyster or clams. Went to my favorite Chinese dive a few weeks ago and was just as good as ever. My daughter was there recently also and she said the same thing. It called the Golden Gate. Their rice plates and won ton soup are as good as anyplace I've eaten Chinese food, including NYC and SF. It's in Chinatown in Boston and it is difficult to get bad food there. You don't need a car in Boston, public transportation is excellent and only 85c. We flew in several week ago. Took the train from the airport to Chinatown. walked to Quincy Market and Fanuil Hall area. Went to the Northend to Mikes Pastries, excellant Italian bakery. Went to the waterfront area also by Christopher Columbus Park and hung out there walking and watch the boats. It's a good walking city as it is quite compact. We lived there 17 yrs. My kids and grandchildren still do. Enjoy yourselves,
