This message may seem a little out of the ordinary, but I thought this
wonderful forum of experienced travellers might be able to suggest some
ways to deal with my problem.
Here it is:
For almost a year now, I have been holding USAirways tickets to Rome on
Sept. 30. Their mechanics may strike on Sept 26. This is just too much
for me. We only get a very few
vacation days a year, and are on a very small budget. We have already
paid for many parts of our journey.
Anyway, when I ask USAirways for a refund, they tell me it's against the
rules of the fare and there is nothing they can do for me.
I am running out of ideas, and am loath to wait and see, as USAirways
suggests. Anyone have any ideas?
