grove park would be the nicest of course...
biltmore estate does have a restaurant...but you must pay the admission fee
of $20 or so just to get on to the grounds.
i found two small places downtown that were trendy and had atmosphere.
they are on the main strip and right across the street from one another.
one is mexican, with outside seating. since this was too crowded, we went
over to the old train station which is a small pub and sandwich
place. great for a pint of the local ashville brew.
