Subject: packing for Italy
My husband and I were there last year at about the same timeand in the same areas. We had mostly sunny days in the 70's with nights down to low 50's high 40's. There were a couple of rainy days, but it was pretty intermittent. My travel umbrella was good to have, however. I would leave the heavy jacket at home and make sure you have layers (of course!). On the coldest days I was comfortable with a turtleneck and wool blazer. And that wool blazer was appropriate for just about every place we went. I had my trench coat, but it mostly took up the back seat. Have a great trip, and looking forward to hearing about it when you return. Lisa in Chicago
