Recently returned from a warm visit to Las Vegas. Ate a Buffet @ Hilton's
new Paris. Cost around $14.00 for dinner. Food was wonderful. As much
cold shrimp as one could dream of eating, crab legs, cornish hens,
desserts, and all of the standard fare. Service good too, wait in line not
out of line . . . believe we arrived approximately 5:45. My daughter
mentioned it wasn't Paris, however it met her approval of a nice sight for
the eyes and food for the stomach. The hotel also connects to Bally's so one can
use the monorail to travel to the MGM.
Also found that Caesars offers free cavern tours during the day. For those who take the tour and have dinner reservations for that evening, a $10.00 discount is offered. Didnt' get to this, ran out of time. Spent time finding consignment, antique and thrift stores. If somebody needs it, I've got a list of names and addresses, although I'm sure it is not all inclusive. Enjoyed CATS @ MGM. If you see EFX or any presentation there, be sure to take a sweater. Excellent seats, but brrrr, it was cold, even with a sweater. Susan Huff, Indiana (USA) |
