My favorite travel book is Kate Simon's The Places in Between. It's out of
print I think. She describes the places in between Rome, Florence and
Venice in such a way that you just have to go there. I think it's one of
the reasons that I love to visit Italy so much.
And we'll be staying home for New Year's. We always have a party, from 6 PM to 9 PM, for our friends like us, who can't stay up all night any more. We may make an exception this year - we'll party til 10!!! Callie in New Orleans |
