Subject: London Hotel
A great value in London is the Rushmore Hotel, 11 Trebovir Road (071) 370 6505; fax: 0274 It is a block or two from the Earl's Court Tube, which makes it highly accessable to many things. The V&A museum is a 10-15 minute walk. Earl's Court is loud and full of young people, and not all that pretty, but safe and very close to many wonderful things. I had a friend stay there in June and he liked it very much. I checked out the hotel first, as I stay with my girlfriend who lives in Earl's Court. Also, we had some friends stay at Hotel 167, on Old Brompton Road, which is trendy, expensive and has been widely praised in all of the guidebooks. It was ok, but this was nicer, and much cheaper.
