|Subject: Re: Barcelona, Catalonia|
Thank you so much for your advice re the Costa Brava. I'm just sorry that it has taken me so long to get back to you; I've spent the better part of the last two weeks planning this trip.
So far, here is how it is going. 3 days in Barcelona, then rent a car. Drive up the Costa Brava, seeing LLoret, Tossa, Aiguablava, and even Cadaqués if we get that far. We will probably look for a place to stay somewhere along this drive, perhaps the Parador at Aiguablava. The next day, finish exploring the northern reaches of La Costa Brava, Cadaqués, Roses, Figueres, and then spend the night in Monells, at the Arcs de Monells. Do you know this inn by any chance. Next day explore Girona, and maybe Besalú. Spend the night at the Parador de Cardona. Return to Barcelona for another day and a half.
Does this seem too ambitious to you? You needn't respond if you are pressed for time, especially since we are leaving this Friday, the 3rd of December. I do thank you for all of your advice heretofore.
