Subject: RE: Hotels in Florida
I stayed at PORT ORLEANS a few years ago. It seemed to me to be primarily a family hotel complex - lots of kids everywhere. I was there with a kid so it was recommended to me. The pool is children oriented and there is an arcade and a food court more designed for quick and easy access to a bite to eat. The standard rooms were clean and comfortable but not too spacious.

The Port Orleans shared its Disney bus route to and from the parks with the DIXIE LANDINGS complex. At the time I stayed the first pick-ups were at Port Orleans and then the three stops within DIXIE Landings. So it was always easy to get a bus seat from Port Orleans but not as likely to get one from Dixie especially at the busy times. I kept thinking I was glad I wasnt staying at DIXIE just because my nephew whom I was with would have gotten impatient having to wait for a bus if one came by that was full :-)
