|Subject: Intro, and a question|
Hi there, world travelers;
My name is Marc. I'm a 35 y/o attorney/paramedic, live in NJ, and am getting married in September 2000.
I'm posting in inquire about potential honeymoon destinations in Europe. My fiancee and I would like to see a bit of art, a bit of local culture, and a bit of history, in addition to some nice dining. We would also like a nice hotel (not a mega-luxury palace, but clean, queen/king bed, private bath, good location, etc.).
We were thinking of a 9-10 day trip, staying in Brussels as our home base with day trips to Paris, Amsterday, and Brugges. Our budget for the trip is about $4k plus incidentals.
As background, I've traveled a bit (Madrid and Toledo in Spain, all over the U.S. [faves are San Francisco/Napa, and the Florida keys], and day trips to Niagara on the Lake, Canada, and Tijuana, Mexico), while the future Mrs. hasn't traveled as much.
Any suggestions (including those which note that our expectations are unrealistic at this price) would be appreciated!
Thanks so much,
