Different strokes for different folks! (-:
I found Paris in Las Vegas to be very claustrophobic and crowded, not at
all the feeling of really being in Paris. True, we had breakfast at the
cafe, but it was strictly Las Vegas style. We had the same feeling at
New York, New York. The Venetian was nice and interesting in design, but
we found Mandalay Bay exhausting with its constant loud, noisy music
blaring. I still prefer the elegance of Bellagio which is the only hotel
playing classical music throughout. If you#re there in warm weather, the
pool area is fabulous and we spent a good part of two days relaxing and
enjoying lunch there. Also, check out Monte Carlo. No big theme, just
pretty and comfortable looking and also on the strip. Many people like
the Rio Hotel, although I only saw it from a distance. It is not ON the
strip, but a block or two down a street from Bellagio and Caesar's
Palace. It is known to be very nice and at more reasonable prices.
Parking your car will be an expense in Las Vegas, so this will be a
consideration too.
