I just wanted to chime in (for what it's worth) to say that I too am very
fond of Belgium (Beer Paradise). My first trip to Europe included several
days in Belgium, traveling from Flanders to the Ardennes and I really
enjoyed everything about it. I found great pleasure in soaking up the
scenery and the hospitality. On the last day of the trip, Leuven was a
wonderful place to stay for access to the Brussels airport. It is a very
lively college town with an absolutely amazing town hall (16th c?). If

Of course, the people in Belgium were great. Whether Flemish or Walloon,
they are all proud to be Belgian. Oh, and of course, I also enjoyed stops
at three of the Trappist monasteries where they brew those fine Belgian
beers. :-))).
