|Subject: Weather in Pyrenees - For Susie (and John)|
I went this weekend to Jaca, in the spanish Pyrenees, and the only thing
I can tell about the weather and the snow conditions is that everything
is gone crazy. We didnīt make to the ski resorts, but talking to friends
it seems as if there is not enough snow to enjoy the slopes (sorry, John,
but last year was really wondeful, and this one looks very bad), but enough
snow not to be able to walk. Saturday was coldish, because of the wind,
and there was a big storm going on up in the mountains, that stopped the
lifts. Yesterday was much better, the sun was shining and there wasnīt
I just hope itīs much better in the French side where you are heading.

Ps. My mum (a surrogate Ziner, since she doesnīt speak English) is making a list of places where you have probably already been, like the Selva de Oza in Spain, or Neouvielle (hope I am writing it well) near St Lary. Mainly for the fine weather in Spring or Autumn...
