Thanks John they are great! By the way I think you should definately go
to Tofino if you have a chance . To say it is awesome is a understatement.
I stayed at The Middle Beach lodge (http://www.middlebeach.com/) and loved
it--it was elegant but in a woodsy kind of way and every room with an
astounding view of the pacific ocean!
We spend a day on a Zodiac raft spotting Grey and Humpback whales, Eagles
and Eagle Nests and enjoyed several hours at the Hot springs which were
wonderful. The path to the Hot springs threads its way through a Rain
forest with abundant views of eagles and even human wildlife :) The Springs
themselves are a series of tumbling pools with each lower pool a little
cooler. The lowest pool which mixes with the cold Pacific Ocean is still
pretty hot! I think you are supposed to start at the bottom and work your
way up towards the hottest pools but i never made it to the top!
Tofino is a must see for anybody who wants to be outdoors in rugged natural
