We use CSA for travel insurance; their costs seems to be consistently
lower than many other companies; I have never had to collect for a claim
from them, but have never read any complaints anywhere about them. They
were one of first to give you full coverage for existing medical conditions
(provided you buy the insurance within 14 days of making FIRST trip deposit
or payment for anything and provided that you insure for all non-refundable
costs if trip must be cancelled.) I think it is important to always have
travel insurance for medical expenses, evacuation, and trip cancellation
when travelling outside of the U.S.--there's just too much risk of losing
a lot! (Plus CSA gives $25,000 worth of rental car insurance coverage).
