I haven't been to Charleston in years, but when we took the kids about 15
years ago, we enjoyed a place called A.W. Shucks -- a casual seafood place.
I believe it's still there, as they have a website. We had some wonderful
she crab soup, which is the specialty of the area. The place we had it was
nearby the Days Inn, and it was called Chad's, but I haven't a clue if that
place is even open anymore. I'll check my bookmarks.... seems I saved a
couple of Charleston sites....
We just loved walking around Charleston.... there's a row of houses called Rainbow Row that's quite lovely, and we just enjoyed walking along the Battery and walking around the neighborhoods, looking at the beautiful gardens.
