Subject: Re: London Hotels, B&B's |
Near Earl's Court, which is a very convenient, but fairly ugly area, the
best place that I have seen is the Rushmore Hotel on Trebovir Road. It is a
minute or two from the tube, and just far enough from Earl's Court Road to
avoid the noise. It is quite nice inside, and the rooms are quite large.
My friend stayed there, and at the more recommended Hotel 167 on Old
Brompton Road last June, and this was much nicer. Hotel 167 is in a
quieter, prettier, area, but farther from the tube, much smaller, and more
expensive. I prefer the Swiss Cottage hotel next door to it. I go to
London quite often, and my girlfriend lives in Earl's Court. I'm going back
again tomorrow for 5 days, so if you email me quickly, I'd be happy to look
at any of these, or other places that I happen to pass, and email you back
with what I find.
