|Subject: Bus from the Station to the Vatican - was pickpockets in Rome|
Hi Ziners! As someone pointed earlier, one of the main risks for pickpocketing
is the bus running from the station to the Vatican (# 64, as Laurie added).
Well, it seems this problem has in part solved. In fact, that bus is much
less crowded since the introduction (last Monday) of a new Express line
that follows the same route but has only 4 stops in the main spots between
its two stations(# 40). The result is 2 lines, each with a 4 min. frequency,
that allow the people to stay more comfortable, especially for longer
trips, and should discourage pickpockets.
