Subject: Pick pockets in Vienna
It's true, we have them here also. Of the people in my German langauge class, there are four people who have been picked in recent months (including the instructor, native Austrian).

All of the picking took place underground in the subway areas, or U- bahns.

For those traveling to Vienna just remember that the Karlsplatz area has a few thieves. Criminals here aren't violent at all, but it is disturbing how many thieves we have wandering around the underground subway stations.

I'm sure there are more walking around the streets also, but they're pretty obivious down below. Just be a bit careful.
