This is what I dug up on the Hotel Belvedere:

I did my reservations thru e-mail and got a terrific price for a jr suite facing Lake Lecco. Our room number was 512 (floor -1 *that's minus one) Had a great terrace with table and chairs, even lounge chairs. At dusk we would gather (there were 6 of us) to toast the day, make plans for the next day and enjoy the view.

If you have dinner at the Hotel, see if they still have strawberry rice as appetizer. Made with champagne it was a memorable dish.

PS: Take the ferry ride across the lake to Tremezzo and go to Casa Carlotta.Its a nice afternoon/morning with the art and gorgeous grounds. It will also give you a great picture of Bellagio on the return trip!
