|Subject: Stopover in LA|
A six hour stopover in LA gives you plenty of time to see a part of LA that
is fun and popular. The third street promenade in Santa Monica, about 15-20
minutes from the airport. When you arrive go to a traveler's aid booth and
ask for the brochure which includes a map on the area. You can either take a
cab, shuttle or public transportation there and very easy to take cab back.
THere are some great restaurants around Santa Monica blvd. between 3rd and
Ocean ave., as wwell as along ocean ave You can go out onto the pier for a
bite or a drink, the promenade has some trendy and very interesting
galleries, stores and bookstores. THere are also 3 movie theatres with about
18 choices of movies. There are street entertainers, all in all one of the
interesting places to visit in LA, all can be done nicely in 4 hours or more
or less as you choose.
I am on duty on Sunday night in terminal 4, 5 to 9, American Airlines, and Tom Bradley international terminal on Friday nights, 7-10, at the traveler's aid booth, all of them being on the arrivals (where the baggage carousels are) level, and happy to help you if you come in to LA during either of those times.
