Subject: Books by Travel Writers
A Ziner commented that it would be fun to find a copy of Skinner's Our Hearts Were Young and Gay. There are 243 copies (!) available on in their out-of--print section, ranging in price from $10 to $135. I found a copy in our local library--and it is STILL fun. Recently I bought a copy of another our-of-print book about travel that I read as a child (and which was probably the very first book to instill in me a desire to go places) -- I Married Adventure by Osa Johnson, about her life with the photographer of Africa, Martin Johnson, in the 1920's and 30's. Cheers, Pat
