Subject: Re: Campers in Europe + Canada Question
Europe: years ago we bought a used Renault van and camped in it for several months, then sold it. It didn't have hookups so I can't speak to that, but there were other RV type campers out there. There were lots of sites and they were not expensive. Fewer open off season than in this country. The large vehicle is sometimes hard to manuver in cities, and a lot of the parking was off limits (because it wouldn't fit in underground garages).

There is a newsgroup about UK camping where you might get more advice.

Whistler: I skiied Whistler two years ago at the end of April and they had plenty of snow. May should be fine.
