We stayed in the Brentwood Motor Hotel on Sunset Boulevard in May 1999.
It's an old fashioned, well maintained place . It is in a very good
residential area and we felt quite safe there. The rooms are simply
furnished and very clean. Parking is in the motel courtyard. The rates were
very reasonable. We came across it by chance when we were looking for a
place near the Paul Getty Museum (a must-see! You can take a bus there from
the motel and avoid possible museum parking problems) I have just checked
and the Brentwood has a website: http://www.bmhotel.com/about.html
Have fun.

A Motel 6 or Days Inn is fine, since we will be there for the driving around and sightseeing etc., and as long as we can fit 3 people in a room, we will be fine. Our main concern is a safe location and we prefer a motel that has the inside entry since it will be 3 females. In surfing the net I found one one Sunset Blvd - The Dunes but I don't know how safe that area is I appreciate any help offered. |
