Central London District 1: West End and south bank of Thames, Piccadilly, Soho, Regent Street, Mayfair, Park Lane, Westminster, Victoria, Whitehall. Most hotels are in West End and include Park Lane hotels, and guest houses in Victoria. Convenient for shopping, sightseeing and theater.

Central London District 2: Knightsbridge, Chelsea, Fulham, South Kensington and Earls Court, near many museums and Earls Court exhibition center.

Central London District 3: includes High Street Kensington, West Kensington, Holland Park, Notting Hill, and Hammersmith. Also convenient for Olympia, West London and the airport.

Central London District 4: north of Hyde Park, covering Bayswater, Paddington, Maida Vale. Also convenient for Wembley, popular with both tourists and business visitors.

Central London District 5: north-east, includes the major arrival points of Kings Cross and Euston, St. Pancras, Bloomsbury, Kingsway, Marylebone, Regents Park, Leicester Square, The Strand, Charing Cross, Fleet Street, Holborn, and The City. Lower priced accommodation in smaller hotels and B&B's.
