Dear Didi, I find that my favorite budget-accomodations recommendations are those from Frommer's. Try the suggestions in Frommer's Paris on $75 a Day. I like these for many reasons, not least among them is the fact that for me, Frommer's recommendations are detailed, and they are usually accurate. Hope this helps. Debbie
