|Subject: Paris in the spring|
To those planning this for next year--
We just got back from Paris in April and went the week before school
vacation and Easter in order to avoid the rush. We had been warned
about the weather and unfortunately it was true--Paris can be very
rainy at that time of year. We got into some windy squalls. We had
been in the fall several times before and found the weather much
better then. But there are plenty of indoor activities,
museums, etc. And anyway we love Paris so it didn't matter to us. My
husband is Franco-American so he happily blabbed his way across the
city, explaining the reason for his strange accent.
If you haven't already found it, I think the best site on the web
about Paris is Bonjour Paris, the project of some enthusiastic
expatriates, which gives a real feel for the city.
Bon Voyage! Elizabeth
