|Subject: Re: carrying money....|
Sorry about sending the e-mail without completing the body of the message but I hit the send button in error. My wife and I have been in Europe a few times and both of us wear money belts as well as a neck safe. In the money belts we keep most of our money. The neck safe contains our passport and our travel documents, e.g.. plane tickets. My wife put zips on my side pockets in my trousers and I keep spending money, as well as one credit card in there. She also made my side pockets deeper. I NEVER keep anything in my hip pockets. She never carries an 'over the shoulder' purse while overseas, even in Singapore, which is probably the safest city in the world. I also use a back pack when going on long walks, to carry the excess camera equipment plus other incidentals. Through the shoulder straps I had piano wire threaded and had a light metal mesh lining placed inside the bag. If the backpack gets slashed, this stops someone removing the contents. By taking these simple precautions both of us do not worry about our belongings and enjoy our holiday. I hope this helps.
