We are traveling from Paris to Helsinki July 27th, meeting a group, flying
to Ivolo and motor coach to Kirkenes to board Finnish ship, Regina Christina
for ten days to Archangel, Murmansk continuing on to complete in Bergen.
What is the weather generally like - how warm and do I need really warm
clothes? Will a polartec jacket, windbreaker and warm sweater (with silk
thermals) do it? I live in Palm Springs and the going temperature is over
100-115c! Since we will be returning to Paris and on to Normandy we are
trying to pack light but smart!
Has anyone heard of the CASTILLE hotel in the 1st district of Paris ( near
the Louve? Also recommended (not to touristy and medium fun restaurants in
