|Subject: Re: Lisbon to Faro by Train|
We did the same thing 3 years ago; only the town at
the Algarve was another one (Lagos). We took the bus
into the town; the disadvantage of this was that we
had to walk a short way from the bus-stop to the ferry
station to conquer the Tejo. The train-station is on
the other side of the river or harbour.
If you take a taxi from the airport (it's the fastest
way), it will be better to fix the price. If you don't
do this, you will have to pay a higher one (possible).
The web-adress for the Portugal railway is:
(with 'search' you will find the times for the train).
So have a great time at the Algarve,
