Subject: Naples Dining
Leonardo Scalfi (from Northern Italy) asked about dining in Naples.

Any response from Marco De Angeli is going to be worth taking, but I would like to complicate your life by suggesting another restaurant. Brandi's on via Chiaia, near the Galleria. It claims to be the inventor of the Margurheta. Whether or not it is, it's pizze are wonderful. You will certainly get no argument from me on Marco's general point that the food in Naples is superb (and cheaper than up north). Our favorite waiter at Brandi's is Mario Scorza. Please give him our best if you go there.

If you have dinner there, you might wish to walk towards the Galleria and have a dolce and/or coffee at the historic Gambinus Bar.
