I understand the attraction. I'd stay in this part of Venice in a minute on a return trip. Loved the fact that it was out of the tourist pathways.

Yes, Juli was camped out on the futon in front room during our stay. I admit we were a bit uneasy about the situation i.e., the privacy factor. But as it turned out over the 72 hours that we were there we only saw her twice. She made herself scarce and, of course, we were out and about most of the time. We wouldn't stay there again but it's kind of cool to claim that we slept in Tintoretto's house. We were also there in Oct. before the high water. All in all a successful visit for our first time there.
