We just flew on a British Air 777 from Dulles Airport to Heathrow and
thought it was one of the most cramped, uncomfortable airplanes we had
ever been on. Horrid--no leg room at all. When people in front reclined
seats, it was virtually impossible to get out of seats into aisle (and
I am only 5 ft. 2 in.). Which just goes to show, I guess, that it is not
the plane itself that is comfortable or uncomfortable; it is the seating
configuration put into it! I am happy that the Continental 777's are much
better. We had a 767 coming home and found that it was very comfortable
and decided that with British Air, we will always try to find 767 flights.
