Subject: London Links
Hi everyone, Here are some of my favorites, although some may be dead links or out of date, as I did not have time to edit this list. I also have other lists organized by my various interests, such as food, music, theatre, etc. The ones that I have starred are my favorites. I hope that this is of interest. Also, I like to recommend the Rushmore Hotel on Trebovir Road in Earl's Court. It is very reasonably priced for a nice sized room with a private bath and shower, and the location is very convenient to both Heathrow, Gatwick, and central London. You can walk to the V&A and the sights of South Kensington, Knightsbridge, and Chelsea. The only downside is that Earl's Court is not very scenic, and tends to be rather tacky on the main drag, but the location is really great, and you pay much less than what you would pay if you are a couple of tube stops away at Gloucester Road or Knightsbridge. If you want to break the bank, I think that for a small, elegant hotel, Eleven Cadogan Gardens near Sloane Square is unbeatable. Hotels in London are not my specialty, so I would hope that some others will chime in with their personal favorites. I can help with ethnic restaurants, and pubs, however.
