Subject: London Links and Earl's Court

Want to thank Jonathan for the fabulous list of London links which has now gone into my UK file. Also to second the endorsement of TimeOut. I have found some of my favorite restaurants in London through the mag. A really fun and not too expensive restaurant, near Covent Garden, is Belgo Centraal. Much has been written about this place, and it was delicious and entertaining. My brother has written restaurant reviews for TimeOut NY, and he has very discerning tastes in food. I think they make a point to find folks who know what they are talking about, and who understand that TimeOut readers like value for their $$. At least it seems that way to me.

About Earl's Court: it does seem that many of London's decent budget hotels are in Earl's Court, but so is a very good restaurant with good prices, and great specials for early diners. This is Lou Pescadou, for very French seafood. Small and charming with great food. I believe it is on Old Compton Road, just east of the intersection with Earl's Court Rd.
