I have tried almost everything and I still have jet lag, so I think it is up to the individual person.
Well, there is one antidote I have not tried and my friend swears it works. She eats supper in the airport before she boards the plane and immediately falls asleep when she gets on the plane and sleeps all night.
I am not sure what she does on the way back and I'll have to ask her.
Somewhere I have the sequence of recommended dosages of Melatonin and if I ever run across it I will post it.
