|Subject: Boston to Halifax|
You will be going to a beautiful part of the world, in every sense of the word. When you leave Boston take Route 1A, then 127, then 133 and then 1 to Maine. This is a long route but you will enjoy the towns in Massachusetts North Shore. They are a joy. And the lobsters are simply delicious. When in Maine, the town I like most is Camden and then all the area north of it along Route 1. If you have the time it is a trip to remember. As far as lodging goes, you will find the most charming inns and B &Bs. The only problem may be that during the Fall weekends it may be hard to find vacancies. I used to call ahead from the previous town and always found rooms. There is a good guide for B&Bs: Fodor´s America´s Best Bed and Breakfasts and also Frommer´s Bed and Breakfast North America. They have lists of inns and B&Bs. I have never been to Nova Scotia and was not planning on going on this trip (I will be in New England, September and October), but after all I have been reading about Nova Scotia from various Ziners, I may just change my plans and head further North than what was my first intention.
Have a wonderful trip. Susana São Paulo, Brazil
