Subject: Problem w/British Air
Hi Didi Here is what I do when faced with airline frustrations. It is usually helpful, but not always, and the results are not always completely satisfying. Still, this is the best method I have found so far:

I find the telephone number for the Customer Service (or even Executive Offices) at the airline's headquarters. I can not stress headquarters enough. Then I bite the bullet and make the long distance call during business hours, which is usually expensive. Of course, I then have to endure recorded menus, but when the first available human being answers the phone, I ask them to call me back at their expense, adding that I have had weeks, days, months or whatever of frustration and demanding to speak with a human that has the power to address my problem immediately. Be firm, speak strongly. This has often provided me with good results. Hope it helps you, Debbie in Pittsburgh
