|Subject: Accomodation in Prague|
I have started researching for our next October trip to Prague. I
asked my travel agent to look for a simple hotel in the city centre,
and I have been looking in the web for an apartment. Mum enjoyed our
apartment stay in Paris two years ago, and seeing that we will be
staying around 10 days, I thought it might be worth having a look.
Now my question. I have checked with a couple of agencies in the Internet, AVE and Marys. From AVE I have got an offer for the hotel Valdstein, in Mala Strana. It looks absolutely gorgeous in the web pictures, but it will be around 100 USD and it is an hotel, after all. Marys has offered me an apartment in Nove Mesto, near the National Theatre, at around 60 USD. It looks quite OK. Nothing fancy, but good for us.
Has anyone booked accomodation through any of these agencies? Do you think they are reliable? We don´t really need nothing else than a clean room and a good shower, nothing fancy. And of course, fine weather, because our visit list is growing everyday. Until now I have already planned to visit Dresden, Kutna Hora, probably Konopiste Castle and some other, there are a couple of Mozart operas waiting for us, and all the cafes that we can fit.
Regards from Bilbao on its festival week (I am off to watch tonight´s chinese fireworks),
