The metro rail does run to the beach--both Redondo Beach (at the end of
the Green line) and Long Beach ( at the end of the Blue line) are on the
Routes! Why you could easily visit the Long Beach Aquarium of the Pacific
by taking the Metro Blue line and exit at Transit Mall. Here is a map
of the different lines so you can check it out yourself sometime:
