We have been to Hawaii three times (so far) and spent most of our time on one of the other islands, however, we ALWAYS included a few days on Oahu. You did not mention where you are staying, but we stay at the New Otani (nearer to Diamond Head) but maybe 15 or 20 minutes walking from Waikiki. It is across from Kapiolani Park (a nice city park). Their Hau Tree restaurant and small beach were lovely and not overcrowded. Nearby is the Aquarium which is a nice manageable size. I think the Bishop Museum is very worthwhile. We enjoy eating at Keo's I (original location). We also ate at a place called Indigo's last time which was downtown, trendy and good, but by far the most wonderful dinner we had on Oahu so far was at Alan Wong's.

Anyone know if a Pacifici Cafe has opened on Oahu? I really like Roy's on other islands, but have not tried the one in Hawaii Kai on Oahu. I will look forward to other opinions added to mine from this group!
