Subject: Seward to Homer
It is really kind of an either or situation. They are both on the road south from anchorage, but it wyes and goes to the left and to the east side of the kenai peninsula to reach Seward and Homer is on the west side of the kenai wuth a longer drive. It would be quite a drive to get them both in one day with the half day boat trip to seward thrown in. There is a couple of hours of backtracking which ever way you go as they both on the end of the road. If it were I; I would do a boat trip into Kachimak bay from the homer spit or across the bay in to the little town of Seldovia for a boat cruise. Boats are running there strictly depending upon the weather. For fear of offending anyone in Seward, suffice it to say it is a good place to get on and off a boat. You would see much more of the country by going to homer.spit. Have a great trip. regards dave mchugh 9833

Hi I would suggest the Iberostar Resort in Playa del Carmen. She would fly into Cancun and then drive down to the resort. There are several charter tour companies that use this resort : GWV, TNT and Apple are two from the US that I know of. They take care of transportation to the resort too. The Iberostar is an all-inclusive resort. There were lots of children there when we went, plus Xcaret and Xel-Ha are close by which would make fun day-trips. Mary
