Welcome to the Zine! Re: your visit to Houston next week, Chris gave you a great overview. Prepare for a hot time--literally--but bring your umbrella or poncho, as we are all doing rain dances for more relief from our drought. If you go to NASA, you might want to relax afterwards on the boardwalk at Kemah over a fresh seafood dinner-- lots of restaurants, watch the boats, etc. Our revitalized downtown can be a hopping place at night, with lots of food options, bars/music, the new Enron baseball field (open to the skies, unless excessive heat or rain require the retractable roof to close-- however, I think the Astros will be on the road next week)...you'll notice many streets caged in w/ fences--we're getting ready to host the Texaco Grand Prix.
