Hi!
My hubby and I spent 5 days in San Antonio in mid-March. Stayed at La
Mansion. Rooms were small, but it used to be a convent, then a girls'
school. Knowing that added to the charm. Marvelous food! Some Tex/Mex, and
European. You can find anything you want on the River Walk as pertains to
food, price, and music. El Mercado is a great place for food. I can't
remember which of the 2 previously mentioned restaurants has a bakery. The
candied pumpkin is typically Mexican. I spent SOOO much $ on Day of the
Dead figurines! The 2-day trolley ticket is great, and if you don't have
the time to get to all the stops, the company might let you go a 3rd day.
There are many museums, (I especially loved the Frida Kahlo photos) and
you get to 3 of the 5 Missions on the Trail with the trolleys.
