Subject: Pants

What do you all do about travel pants, when you don't anticipate doing laundry very often? I know jeans are heavy and slow to dry. Khakis are also sort of slow to dry and show dirt easily. Dress pants don't seem practical, and leggings are out of style. We're not into athletic pants, and don't want to seem like typical American tourists anyway. We don't want to spend a fortune on specialty Microfibre magic travel pants (and the ones we looked at in Magellan all seemed to say 'hand or machine wash, tumble dry, warm iron.)

So, I'm wondering. What do you all take? Light, clean, easy to wash, wearable several times, iron not needed....My husband and I are both interested, so please chime in!
